From Harry Potter: "Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?"
"During struggle we deserve space, time, and compassion."
I earned my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University. Since graduation I have enjoyed working with a variety of clients from diverse backgrounds. I have experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, and men’s mental health. I believe that every person can benefit from therapy and I approach my clients with an open and honest attitude. I strive to facilitate healthy growth for individuals and families that feel stuck, confused, and discouraged.
In my practice I aim to integrate all aspect’s of a clients life, including family, romantic relationships, community, work, race, gender identity, school, etc. into the therapeutic work we do together. I value my clients personal expertise and view my role as an advocate and collaborator for healthy change.
Outside of the office I enjoy spending my days hiking, whittling, taking care of my house plants, playing games, and traveling to new places with my wife. I love living in Saint Paul and taking advantage of the diverse culture offered in the Twin Cities area. Additionally, I am an enthusiastic Vikings fan and you can find me wearing all purple on Sundays in the fall.
